Has anyone here ever used red slim remover. I am starting to have a little bit show up and don't want it to get out of hand. I will be replacing some bulbs tomorrow. I think that might be part of the problem. The other part is the new feeding of corals. Although my phosphates are 0. If you have used this product did you have any problems?

phosphates test zero but you have phosphates. Do you have any phosban? How bad is your outbreak?

I used it before and I have had wonderful results with it. You have to follow the directions and do a waterchange in 48 hours or else it releases it all back into the water

In my mothers tank, she had a small case of red slime and I knew she wouldnt (or should I say) I wouldnt be able to do a waterchange, so I had her turn the lighs off for several days. This worked very well. I had her cut back her feedings majorly also...which i dont think she did because she said the fish were always hungry....lol

I just got done running it in my Biocube. I have used it a few times, it always works, but you must do everything the directions tell you i.e. remove carbon, turn off skimmer (sostoudt) and water change etc.
Phosphates will read 0 most times because things in the tank are using it.

Concur with the above. Works great, but follow directions.
