    I havent had RO/DI water...i just got a filter online a 6 stage RO/DI filter so i hope this will help out my problem? You think I would also need to get a phosban reactor also or should having RO water do the trick to this stupid cyno?

    Rodi water will defi itely help depending on your previous water quality. But of course any additional chemical filtration won't hurt. Also try doing lots of consecutive water changes which will help

    Scarlet Reef Hermits love the stuff.. well mine did. I had a small outbreak of it.

    Cyano thrives in nutrient rich water. You could get some temporary relief from Red slime remover. I've used it and it works but if you don't get on top of the nutrients it will come back.
    Reducing nutrients.. feed less/get some good skimming going/ refugium with macro/.. I built an Algae turf scrubber that works great.. my cyano was gone in two weeks. I still have a little in the sump.

    Lucky..... I was under the impression that there isnt a reef creature that will eat red slime. :-/
