Red Slime Remover and my Skimmer

    Added red slime remover over 72 hours ago, and I still can't run my skimmer without it foaming over, even with the outlet tube fully open. 24 hours after adding the RSR I did a 25% water change. I also run phosphate and carbon. I even tried waiting till feeding time to turn it on when the skimmer should be low, and it still overflowed. Its a Octopus Extreme 200. Any ideas?

    I used RSR about a year ago and couldn't run my skimmer for 14 days
