Red Slime Remover. Will it have an effect on sick TOADSTOOL?

    my toadstool has a bacterial infection (2 yellow spots and coral getting eaten away) will red slime remover help this coral as red slime remover is a a anti bacterial medication basically. does n e one have n e advice or should i just cut away the area. i have had this coral for over 3 years and dont want to lose it. thanks

    I'm looking at my pack of red slime remover and according to the package, it is only for removing red slime from your corals, inverts and the tank, that's it.It doesn't say anything about being used as a medication

    ya but im positive the red slime remover is an antibiotic. red slime (cynobacteria) + antibiotic (red slime remover) = no red slime. but im not sure on what medication is the main part of chemiclean RSR. i hope it will help the coral. n e one have some insight?
