Just wondering if anyone has any experience with ChemiClean Red slime remover -> https://www.marinedepot.com/ps_View...ions-Saltwater_Aquarium_Supplies~vendor~.html

Have had a cyano problem for a month now, and no matter what I do to try and fix the problem, it just persists, everything in my tank is healthy otherwise, but the cyano is painful to look at, and with my tank being at my front entrance, it's almost embarassing when people walk in to our house and see it :(

i works but after you do it you must do a major water change or it will have accomplished nothing

I've used the Red slime remover by blue life. Seemed to work really well.

i was about to use those pruducts when i had cyno not too long ago, but everybody i knew told me it was not reef safe...they said to go with a different approach as those chemicals do not treat the source, so i used a product called "Cylce" and threw some Kent Marine Nitrate Sponge into the back of my HOB filter, did more water changes and within a few days it was nearly gone, and it was the thick velvet red stuff, i was quite pleased.

I used it with great sucess, I had a really bad cyno problem and hated looking at my tank, used chemi-clean and 2 days later haven't seen it since. Go for it but read and follow directions. Rob

I used it and it works pretty good. The first treatment pretty much wiped everything out. Waited a week and did a second treatment and there is no more.
