    Foraminiferans. thats what i think it is. but why did it take so long for it to grow? is that what it is? why are the pictures in google so big? does it just depend? did i kill it? thanks a lot for all the responses. really appreciate it.

    and can you get me a picture of froam? i would appreciate it. i cant find a picture. i want to correctly identify this thing!

    Mine are small too. My tank is 9 months old--I don't think that they get too big.

    I have them too. I just let it go. They stay small and don't do much except decorate the rock some.
