So I'm pretty sure I have this on some of my LR. How do I get rid of it and more importantly how do I prevent it from coming back? All of my water levels are where they should be except my ca is on the high side 520 and I haven't tested mag yet.

Only thing I found (from LFS buddy) was a couple Tuxedo Urchins. They are the only thing with the teeth (literally) to munch the stuff off the rock. I posted here and no one had a real solution so I am giving my actual experience, the Urchins work.

I had some on my LR, but it went away on its own before it got to be too bad. I never saw my Mexican turbo snails munching on it, but I've read elsewhere that they will eat it.

Urchins can also eat coraline, which can be good or bad, depending on your feelings about coraline.

BTW--with your CA so high, your MG might be low.
