i have 2 other wrasses. i think the other fairy wrasse is a male its a solon . not sure what the lubbocks is, but it has a lot of color. the red velvet has settled in and gets along with both. at times it darts at the solon. but has not flashed again.

Lubbocks is also a Cirrhilabrus. The solorensis is known to be a more more on the aggressive side for the Cirrhilabrus genus, as is the Red Velvet. Give it time, and I'm willing to bet they flash at each other. There's a small chance this combo may fight a bit too.

Kevin said that adding a female or two should not be an issue for the Red Velvet. Its just getting them collected QT'ed and Ready to go in Hopes one or the other Doesnt transfer to a male in the in between process from ocean to your tank. Usually You want to go female then to male. You might see some aggression but It will die down after a while

right now the lubbocks is the smallest and the one who darts at other fish the most, he doesnt fight with them just darts towards them, and doesnt do it all the time just seems to get in a mood. but he doesnt mess with big red. lol the red velvet is the largest of the three, and red seems to have the most personality.
i didnt know the solon was listed as more on the aggressive side. i read they like to school. so figured they were more friendly than most.

thanks i will be watching divers den.

Just to be clear, when I say "more on the aggressive side", this is relative to fairy wrasses. By most standards, that's still not aggressive at all.

The solorensis is simply know to be a bit more harassing amongst other fairy wrasses.
