im going to be doing the same thing with my tank some time next month im not that big a fan of crushed coral so mine has to go i guess that will give me the ambition to re-aquascape something nice... so how are you removing the sand from your tank just siphoning it out w/ water changes or??

 

My leopard wrasse helped a lot with the process. I used to run a cannister, and When the leopard would dive into the sandbed at night and make a storm it slowly filtered out of the tank I lost about an inch of sand on one side of the tank in the last few months. This 5lbs that I added filled it in lovely.

 

Feeling a little down and out of it... Splurged a bit..

Yeah. Lowered the Bioload of the tank. I added a smaller wrasse in its place though.

Thanks, Ive been working on quitting smoking so Ive been getting horrible headaches and feel like crap.

But trying none the less. I had a beautiful pavona and sadly Osiris decided to dump it and I didnt notice and it died in the sand.

 

Headaches > Smoking ;D

 

yeah quitting any strong addiction will mess with your head :-/ best of luck with that, oh and that new addition looks awsome cant wait to c it in your tank
