    The male keeps coming out periodically and is getting braver each time staying out for longer. My achilles ran up to him and was like "Who are you!?!?!"

    excellent to see their doin good eric. that will keep happening until theyre totally comfortable in their new surroundings. and with them being a healthy size, everything should be good congrats.

    Thanks! After the lights where on for about 20 minutes the male appeared and seeked out the female. And then they hid together. Its very cute to see the fish act that way, Do you think they are a pair? or just hiding with eachother cause they can, The male was frantic till he found the female.

    dont know how they were kept from where you ordered them. coulda been a 100 in the tank. or maybe just the 2 of them. but good they found each other.

    Hmm Good point, lol the guy when I talked to him said he had a Pair he could sell me if i was interested. Who knows though :). I should look into their behaviors as pairs.

    in the wild, i dont think they necessarily pair off. think the male has a harem of colorful beauties. sometimes iwish i was a fish. :)

    I think they were probably paired up already. It seems like they wouldn't be so close and hanging out if they weren't bonded already.
