Looking great! Can't wait to see it finished. As for the foam, find the manufacturer then look up the ingredients and or chemicals used to make it and do research to find out if it's safe or if it leaches. That way you know for sure and your not taking someone's word for it.

    Quick update.
I ended up using foam and epoxy to help support and secure my scape.
It's very top heavy so I need to up acrylic rods to help secure and support. Used a puddy.. Let cure for 24 hours then used foam. Let that cure 24 hours then used epoxy mixed with sand. Let that cure 24 hours.

Epoxy mixed with sand to cover foam. I left the zip ties on. Coraline algae should cover that up eventually

The sand and epoxy worked well and blending it all together. And nice beer selection!

My concern is the epoxy and foam being 'aquarium' safe???

Going to finally try to get both pieces in the tank today. Want to get to as close to 24 hour cure time on epoxy as possible. Made some add ons to both pieces.

    Epoxy I used

Here is the smaller piece. Added another ledge. Added piece on right.

Here is bigger piece. I added 3 small pieces of rock. Trying to get more over hangs. It now leans forward to have to make such I support it well once inside tank.

Ok it's done. New pieces are in. Not sure I like it. Took a lot of swimming space away and now lots of shades areas. Looks cool I guess. Worried it's too packed.
    What do you think?
A little cloudy. Just finished it up

Looks real good. Plenty of open space IMO. Not sure about the shade issue.
