Do you think I have a shade issue? Shouldn't be a bad thing. Except nothing will grow in the shady. Think I like it because adds depth

I don't think you have a shade issue. But what do I know? I was just reflecting your earlier concern with shade.

I like it! I definitely don't see it as too crowded. I might try to add a nice sized piece in the V of that one piece so it can round that area out a little if that makes sense.

Do you mean corals? What I see is I'll put corals up there and then after time will fill out. The hard part is trying to envision what it will look like full of coral. Those branches is what grabbed me for that piece.
    Any recommendations for corals??

I think what comes to mind is some LPS or possibly some lower growing sps - the types that branch out and up if that maekes sense.....maybe some pieces of monti could spiral in that area as well.....

I agree. Might even do a birds nest or some SPS up top. Something that can take the high flow and high light. I have over 10 pieces of zoas so might add those on branches in the middle section. It's exciting to have possiblies.
Actually what's keeping me up right now is the weight of the big piece. Worried the bottom glass won't be able to support it. It's not any heavier than aquascapes I see with rocks piled up. But wonder how the bottom glass can handle any weight at all. I have a pre drilled reef ready tank so would hope whoever built would plan for this

Didn't see this. I was worried about it too. During my research found a ton if threads with people making foam rock walls and aquascapes. Lucky for me most threads were a couple years old. I reached out to 4 people and all said they had no problems. The key is using the right type of foam. Great Stuff Pond and Stone is made for waterfalls in ponds. It's fish safe. Also worried the UV would break down the foam after time. All 4 said didn't see any of that. So I went for it
