Red's Sump Build...

    Im so used to the water noise it doesnt even phase me. ...

    The clowns jumping needs to stop though. Hopefully they stay out of the overflow box lol.

    The overflow I had on my 72 bow was loud. I cut a piece of plexiglass out that would lay on top of the box and cut it out to fit around the U tube. It cut the noise level by at least 75%. Just an idea for you if the noise gets to bothering you.

    Nice clean looking installation. Might want to consider put a bead of silicone on the down stream side of the flow to keep the baffles in place better.

    Cure faster! Is it warm there?

    Put silicon on the bottom of the baffle if you haven't - I can't really tell from the pic!

    :p The bottom of each baffle is siliconed, except the raised one.

    Tomorrow Morning, Everything should be cured by then! ... Probably wont happen till the afternoon though.

    Working out the kinks of the sump now, I know the siphons break and such and it doesnt overflow the sump. So thats always a plus, It leaves the sump with about 2" of water...

    Is that enough a safety net?
