    If you are you referring to available room after all the water siphons back to the sump after you shut down the return pump then I would say yes. I would test it at least 5 or 6 times just to verify.

    Oh trust me We have had it off tons of times. LOL. Water sprayed out of the return utube and got my parents wet! Highlight of the day!


    I would say like 4 times Im testing it right not to see if the water level remains to make sure I have the in and out at the same speed.

    Bit cluttered but works so far...

    Final Product, Just need to switch out the bulb to a bulb that more fitting for the chaeto, Any suggestions? Plant bulb in the 6500k to 11,000k area?

    Wow, that is cluttered. lol. Sump looks great though, as does the reef above it! :D

    Thanks, It is very cluttered :(. But It seems to be doing well Guess you cant expect much out of a 20H lol.

    lol. yeah a 20L would have been batter, had you had space for it.

    I will be using a 10g for my sump/fuge. We'll see how that turns out. It will be a bit cramped but it shouldn't be too bad.

    Its really only to cramped. because of the fact I saved a chamber for chaeto, oh and my skimmmer is massive. lol.

    this is what I am using. a $6 clip on light and 6500k cfl bulb from Lowes. Working pretty good so far.
