    Hi everyone,

    I’m sure tones of people are in the same boat as I am in. I have had the RedSea max 34g tank for almost 10 months now and I love it. The only problem that I have found is the lighting. I have found that I cannot keep some corals that I would like to keep and the ones that I can keep are not as bright as the could be if I had MH. Has anyone modified their RedSea max so that it supports better lights? Has anyone seen any articles on it? Pictures/articles/info would be awesome!

    nano customs has a kit to upgrade the lights to halides. THey have a 70 watt kitt and a 150 watt kit. From what i have seen hte come with pc's to. Pricey though.

    Wow those are very expensive. Is there anything out there that wont make such a dent in the wallet? The cheapest one is about what I paid for the tank.

    That is the only one I have seen for the RSM. It would be cheaper to get a metal halide pendant and ballast. Then you could have virtually any coral or clam you want.
