It is all good. I have raised aquariums for 34 years and have very successfully kept reef aquariums for the past 15 years. I learned reef keeping from people like Sanjay Joshi and not people who play semantics over acronyms. I stepped away from forums 10 years ago because of people like Marshall and Scuba Ken who are only here to call other people wrong. The bottom line is I keep my animals in a stable, healthy, and thriving environment. My tanks will go on whether or not CuC means whatever. I will offer no more views and will keep successful systems with or without forums. Sorry I ever came back! Sorry I won't be able to share my RL experiences with the online experts. Trying to shed light, not to master.

Yeah simple misunderstanding man. No reason to jump ship. I dont think anyone meant for it to come off as you think. You should stick around. I think youll find this forum is one of the best out there.
Speaking of all this talk of you having tanks for a while. Any pics?

You are sadly mistaken about Marshall and SK. They willingly offer there time and advice and are good members. It seems you are overly sensitive to a simple misunderstanding. Maybe forums aren't for you.

Thanks Vinny. I haven't been on the past couple days, so just seeing this now. I certainly did mean to sound as if I was trying to call out someone for being wrong; merely trying to clear up the misunderstanding between the two of you ;)

When I said CuC does stand for clean up crew, again I was trying to avoid future confusion from people reading this. If you hold your mouse over the acronym, it will tell you what 3reef says it means. In this case, the forum uses it to mean clean up crew, while a gardening forum would mean cucumber :p

So if you are still around, please know I do only try to help others on this forum, and not bash anyone.

Not sure if anyone mentioned your feeding habits. An over feed system can cause you concerns. When my nitrates creep up I scale back my feelings being careful to still provide need nutrients. Just a thought

On a seperate note hope you stick around Yose. I am not a huge forum guy myself, but found this site in 2011 and always found it friendly and helpful. Anytime text is involved things can be taken wrong. Give it a second chance.

Remove the canister. Your crushed coral is probably the culprit. Feeding habits and number of fish is also important as stated above.;)
