    I have a Reef Angel.

Most everything you want to do, it will do out of the box. As mentioned, the wizard is a good start. There is a learning curve. If you get one, don't expect to have it all done in a day. Take your time.

    Also,

Last I looked on the Reef Angel forum - there was still only 1 iPhone app but it will do most things for you, but you should check it out first as development on it was frozen last I looked as the guy who made it is swamped with other things. You can toggle your switches manually with it and graph things over time. But I don't believe you can adjust the labels for those switches. It is nice though to see your tank stats in real time.

My router goes out a lot and the Reef Angel Wifi does a decent job of resetting most of the time on its own. Once in a while you have to unplug the module and plug it back in.

If you have patience and like geeking out, it is a nice controller.

Hmmm. Well if there is no android app then I am out. And if it does not send updates like the apex then I am out as well! lol

Those are the 2 major selling points for me. :p

I have a Reef Angel Plus and HAD a wifi attachment. I love the RA and am running two jebao WP40'S through it which is badass.

I had nothing but problems with the wifi unit and so I sent it back and haven't missed it at all. Mine would work great for like a week then it would begin to randomly not sync (or say it worked on my app but it really didn't connect) and then it finally completely stopped working and I would need to set it up from scratch again. This was making me loose sleep as I would make changes over wifi but then I would have to go physically check and see that the change really happened (say for instance I turned a dosing pump on for some extra alk then turned it off - did it really turn off or is it going to dose my entire 2 gallon jug of alk into my tank...). I say skip the wifi...

*edit* forgot to add one other very important point of the Reef Angel wifi - its only for doing simple functions like turn a port on and off or kick your lights off. YOU CAN'T CODE OVER WIFI. So any time you want to really change something your going to hook up a physical cable and drag your laptop down to your reef angel to do it (which is stupid and makes wifi of even less use).

I will probably just go with the apex lite. Only 416 with the ph probe.
So a little more but seems like it will be easier for me.
