I am thinking of purchasing one of these fixtures? I have a 40gal breeder and am currently running two 150w K-2 Vipers. I was thinking of getting the ReefBrite Actinic to supplement my MH. I found one that has been used for a year or so for $165 shipped. It has a dimmer/adjustable power supply. Seemed like a good deal. The only thing im concerned about is that i removed the black trim on the 40gal Breeder to make it "rimless" and i installed a glass brace directly in the center, from front to back. :-/ It looks like the "middle" group of leds" on the reefbrite, when installed on the tank, might get intercepted by this glass brace.
All this considered, i just ran across a brand new Sunbrite Slimline Led with remote control for $200 shipped. Thing with this is that it might be hard to use in conjunction with my two current K-2 Vipers as it would probably have to take the place of one MH fixture.
    So im pretty stumped here.........
The Sunbrite Slimline LED is brand new and comes with a remote control with an option of like 11 color combos.
The Reef Brite could be used as supplemental lighting with my current setup and is dimmable, but no remote?

    Someone help:confused:

That is a really tough decision. You can look at a lot of different ways. Going completely LED will save you money in the long run. Bulb replacement, wattage, electric bill etc. But your corals are used to the halides and will look and change dramatically if you switch. Especially SPS. Halides are proven for growth, and personally I have only seen really good growth with LED's if they were 3 watt Crees, and lots of them. So...you got some things to weigh out.
