I take it the dry chamber is the "chimney" to exhaust moisture from inside the stand?

Actually it'll be used to run the power cords from the wave makers and anything else electrical to the bottom of the stand.

Thank you sir, cool deal. How about the business end of this thing? what you going to have running on the sump side of this? Do i remember reading a comment that you were considering "Not" having a sump with this beast?

Were any modifications needed on the house to accommodate a system this large?

I am definitely having a sump. The return pumps will be using two Waveline dc10000. I will use each one on a return and feed my GFO and carbon. I also heard good reviews on Eco Miracle Mud and want to use it in my refugium. I am also torn between either UV and Ozone, maybe both. I have a Cat3 Hurricone Protein Skimmer. Still working on a productive combination.

I just want to redo the flooring in the room it's going. Looking to put flooring in that is water friendly. Hate to have the wrong flooring and have a tank flood.

So what are you putting in? Tile? Engineered hard wood? Linoleum?

I am really feeling the tarkett flooring that is out now. Looks like laminate and sturdy. Good thing is if I scratch a plank it can be replaced. If I use the roll and scratch it then I have to buy a new roll.

On a side note I will have two major accomplishments today. I hit the 100th page on this build and now I will have to wait to see who hits my 1000th post. Wish I could give a prize.
