    Update!

Well everything is sorta on pause. I have my son for the summer and he flies back on the 15th. I have my daughter( whom lives in GA) reporting to college on the 12th and I have to help her move to the dorm. So depending on how much is left depends on the build. Next project is definitely redoing the floor, baseboards, and crown molding. But those are the most important items to be completed before I progress.

I was at a reef conference this weekend and met the guy from Reeflo and we were talking about my build and gave me his personal address and he said he was going to give me ideas on the type of pumps I need. I just have to give him the height and the equipment I am using and he will give me the pumps at cost. So I will believe it when I see it.

So that's all for now until something happens. Thank you 3reef for your patience.

Very nice deal on the pumps if it comes through. The suggestion should give you a decent idea if he can't come through.

    Pumps and Flow

This is true. The center overflow is still somewhat giving me a flow problem. Will I get good flow if I place the sea swirls on the center overflow and blow them opposite towards the glass? And if I do, what about the coral between the acrylic and the rock? Will they get enough flow even if I do add Tunzes to the center overflow to add more flow? What if I place the sea swirls on opposite sides of the over flow and let them interact with the Tunzes on the center overflow? I am just trying to keep food and detritus suspended for feeding the corals and also exiting the the tank. I hope I said that right.

    Great deal on the pumps.

While it may not look as clean and sleek, you will get the best water movement with the seaswirls on each end of the tank (each corner if possible). Then use the Tunzes on the overflow box pointing perpendicular to the length of the tank.

Yes, horizontal, or parallel to the water surface.

And LA Diver's Den does take requests.

I didn't know that. I alway see the "email me when they are available" link under the price of the fish if they are out of that fish.
