Well fish/Corals from Live Aquaria (the main site) are the main site and that would be coming from California. That's where the butterfly above is, but you would be talking to their Divers Den facility (for requests) which is in Wisconsin.

Fish/coral come from both. Divers Den is just the special sought after/super rare stuff. If you reuqest something, it will likely show up there too.

Calcium Reactor/3 Part Dosing...Decisions Decisions Decisions

I have been doing some major research the past week and since my build is large I was debating between 3 part dosing and a calcium reactor.

The 3 part is a no brainer with a dosing pump. The calcium reactor is another whole story. I am presently looking at these two models.

    Korallin C-3002 Calcium Reactor - AquaCave.com

    And this model:

Saltwater Aquariums, Fish Tank Supplies, Aquarium Products and Reef Tank Equipment - GEO CR818 Calcium Reactor

    Two questions;

    1) Do I set the reactor up before or after the cycle?

    and

    2) Will I have to add some type of Magnesium media or still dose Magnesium overall?

After cycle, with no consumption I imagine it would be impossible to tune.

You will handle a majority of the mag separately. You can either dose it with brs or use zeo mag in the reactor.

So you can add the mag to the reactor. Is mag based on how much I add to the reactor?

Yeah, Zeo-Mag is activated Dolomite, it will also add alk so be careful with it. The rule of thumb is 10% of the media should be dolomite, but you really want to add it slowly and see what happens. Get the reactor tuned without it, then add a few cups of it on top and see how your mag reacts.

Nice to see some action even if it's just research. When do you think the build will start up again?

    Ordered Equipment

Well the good news is I ordered 2 Reeflo Super Dart Gold Pump
Reeflo Super Dart Gold Pump, 4,300 GPH - AquaCave.com
and four of the 1" Model Sea Swirls
    1" Model

They should be here by the end of next week and then I will get the plumbing done also. I would like to note that I will do the dry run in my garage and once everything passes I will move the system into the house.
