I like the idea of moving the rock/sand to a sump Bruh. If you haven't already you should check out Rocketmandb's dual bull nose thread for ideas on how to plumb it. I think he has one sump of rock, and one as a fuge.

One of the questions to weigh if you go that route would you want to run them sequentially? I don't have any answers to the "right" way to do it, but rather than having one drain go to the rock sump, and one to the other (with the two plumbed together of course), you may want to consider having all drains go into the rock sump, then plumb that to your second sump, then return to the display. My thinking in that is then you have all the water going through the rock sump and can benefit from all that filtration.

Make sense? Just something to consider.

And for the record, I wouldn't mess with either you or Cosmo, but I ain't scared of Iron Mike! (He's not gonna read this, right? Lol!)

Cosmo, ill message ya about my build. It's moving, but slowly!

UPDATE! - Light Fixture or Floating Canopy.

Well I went to Grangier this morning and ordered these Roller Track Sets for Bypassing Doors with max weight of 150 lbs.

Yea its overkill but I'll feel safer about whats hanging over my tank.

I went to an industrial storage company that sells the brackets to make shelves. The are long L brackets with holes pre-drilled through out. I got five 8 ft. pieces and had one of them cut in half. I will have pictures of everything in a couple days to give you an idea of what I am doing.

No it's still in the garage. The gold dart pumps still haven't gotten in yet and I am also awaiting for the flooring before moving the tank into the house. Right now since I have free time I'm working on my light rack.

I have been mainly been on my local forum but I do pop on here to check up on how your build is going.

Wish I knew you were going to Tampa reef conference, I would have made a point to find you and say hello. I was there to. There was 6 of us from Jacksonville there.
