Well I guess no you wouldn't need that much flow through rocks... It's just going to be a big bio filter which in a way if you stack it nicely will look very nice. Could put a few pods and feeder shrimp down there they might end up in the display as food =P I picked up a piece of half cured live rock took it through the curing process and got a ton of nice purple and pink feather dusters!

And that's exactly what I wanted to do. I had no plans of putting any pods or shrimp inside but that would be cool too in addition to the fuge. Thanks for the idea Caspian.

    New Pumps are in.

On a good note my pumps finally here. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]The difference between the regular hybrid and the gold hybrid is the motor uses less wattage and they have a 5 year warranty compared to the 3 year warranty on the regular pump. Sent from my iPhone using Siri and Tapatalk.

They have the same specs as the regular dart/snapper hybrid. They don't have the baldor motor and they use lesser wattage. They also sent me the pumps without the second impeller and they put them in the mail right away and they should be here anytime soon.

Yes they are. Now the fun begins.

Slow and steady! Was gonna look up the price of those monster pumps, then decided not to even tease myself with even a small minutia of possibility of any form of thought on an upgrade right now.

I'll live vicariously thru this for now;)
