To be honest the pumps aren't that big. It's rather small for the power it packs.

    Tank Change Over Question

Is it possible that once my new tank passes the leak test that I can change all the water and rock over with the fish in one shot? I am only asking because in my present 225 I started missing my gobies and just notice that my engineer gobies are attacking my fish at feeding and saw one take my zebra striped goby with him.

Expert advice is definitely needed like yesterday.

I'm not an expert but I've read a bunch of threads that talk about transfers.....assuming you can move the rock quickly without having much die off from being exposed then you shouldn't have much of an issue with a cycle if thats what you're worried about but its tough to transfer the water and keep all rock from being exposed to air long unless you have some water in tank already, then you could drain down to just above the rock/coral then start moving over the rock as the water level drops

Agreed. I also want to add, using live sand will help and might not hurt to use Dr. Tims bacteria to to help keep the cycle to a minimal if you have any die off.

I could also keep the rocks submerged in water while I'm doing that too until I get to use them.

I plan on using live sand and Dr. Tim's bacteria. Tired of my fish being attacked. Never thought they did things like that. I should've done more research.
