    Overdue Update

Sorry to getting back to 3reef so late. Kinda had a setback health wise but everything is going OK. I am in the process of having the flooring redone. It will be a tarkett vinyl flooring so in case of any leaks I am covered.

Once the floor is finished and the final touches of the baseboard placed I will finish rebuilding the stand. I saw a design that fit my needs better and plus will also accommodate my equipment underneath the stand.

Last but no least, the electrical. This has been the trickiest of all. I didnt know if I should just notch out the wood and run the it between the flooring or just jack hammer a trench and run it through there and cover it back up with concrete. The final thought is to run the wire in the attic and let it come out the ceiling leaving one for the lights and maybe two through a dry chamber to underneath the stand. Or better yet just leave all the electrical in the ceiling and run the wiring up there.

Any ideas or opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks Nvizn. How have things been with you? How are your tanks doing?

Imo I think it would easier to run the wire from the ceiling and have the dry chamber running any wires down below.

Thanks raven for the input. That just confirmed my decision. How are things going with you and your tank?

I just sold my 55g tank and I am in the process of upgrading to a 90g tank. I got the stand built but I still have to make the doors and put the trim in it. I will create a thread with what I have so far.
