Great to be back Seano. How's school coming along and how's the tank doing?

Really liking college here at BG - made some great friends, might have just gotten a part-time job at the dining hall in my dorm. I'm doing well in classes and have actually decided to major in architecture rather than transferring to Cincinnati (for industrial design) like I had thought about doing earlier. An architecture degree has a broader course curriculum, allowing for more possibilities in career choice down the road. I am thinking about a possible minor in entrepreneurship and have actually been looking at some grad schools too, just for fun (SCI-Arc, MIT, USC School of Arch., and others).

The 10 gallon is awesome. Killed off most of the aiptaisa I had, all the corals have grown out (especially the monti cap). I have lots of plans for it next year when I take it over again. I've only been home once since I got here, but will be sure to take some photos of the tank around Thanksgiving, when I go home for break.

Hey Bruh, good to see you on the threads. You doing okay?

As for wiring, I a not an electrical guy, but I'd say running it through the ceiling sounds logistically like the easiest route.

I'll be curious to see what you come up with for stand now that you are going to switch it up. I'm sure it will be awesome though :)

Anyway, I hope you are feeling better!

BG = Bowling Green? Glad you're liking school and know where you want to be at in the future. Also glad you're 10 gallon is doing great too.

Hey Thor. Glad to be back. I am doing much better now. New doctors plus new medication equals setback. But my build is keeping me alive.

The general consensus is through the ceiling is my best bet. As for the stand, I had a major conflict with my stand builder. Apparently he was part of a coup to overtake the president of the reef club so I think I will just build the stand and go from there.

    Holla at you later .

    Sump Update

Pretty much tell the story. I will be turning my other sump into a refugium. More water volume for me. Sump should be ready by the end of next week.

That's all I need, doing math and estimating my new water volume. Thanks elwolfe.

Thanks to elwolfe, I just redid my calculations and with the new sump my total system volume has increased to 750 gallons. Is there a way I can change my thread title..

Thanks Seano for the help. My nephew graduated from there a few years ago. I believe he is getting his Masters there during the summer.
