This is what I do. My 2 Tangs demolish 1/4 sheet in under 2 mins. They eat it like spaghetti!

I got me a pair of those last month too. Good toys.

Is that epoxy on concrete? Nice! We put down hardwood in the fish room this past month. Way better than tthe carpet.

It's a sealer/primer. In a couple days I will add this on top.

    Water Storage Container and Foam

I need assistance or ideas please. What size cisterns should I use? Big enough to do water changes or up to half the tank size. Also, should I place foam under the stand since the tank will be on concrete to help with levelness?

if it were me... If I could, I would have enough water on hand for a 50% wc just in case. better than scrambling to get a few hundred gallons of ro/di water on the fly. though I'm honestly not sure on the necessity of this...

Will you be automating your water changes?

The thought has been going through my head. The containers will be in my garage though.

Dont put foam under the stand. Only between tank and stand. If you have foam, it makes it very hard to shim. TRUST ME.

As for cistern size, I keep a 50 gallon of water for my tank. I don't do water changes so this is sufficient for my top off.

yeah but 50 gallons is barely a drop in the bucket for this size tank... plus I believe he'll be doing wces so...

if I ever do anything on this scale I'd automate as much as I possibly could. wish there was an economical way to automate water testing. I don't mind the cleaning and stuff like that but I hate testing...

I definitely will be doing water changes. Pushing for daily but definitely weekly.

Like giving a whale a tic tac.

Everything will be automated as much as possible but I to am a hands on kind of guy.
