    Stand Problem Solved

I took measurements and ordered a 55 gallon for the refugium and a 30H gallon tank for the auto top off. I will top the refugium with the Marineland double bright LEDs. Equipment wont be in until Thursday or Friday. Pics will follow.

    Water Volume Update

Well the only update is that my system volume changed because I can only fit so much under the stand. The 165 gallon sump that I was planning to turn into a refugium took up way to much space under the stand. The changes to the build are on page one first post. Just when you thought you had it planned out right, the monkey wrench comes in to play.

Still impressive. Pet supplies plus is running their $1 per gallon sale right now...

Ha, I rarely go in to ours but occasionally I like to just see what they got. It is (was) the only big name so in town with salt... Well I walled in and to my horror all the salt tanks were now fresh! I was like really!? Wish I would have known, sounds like they were basically giving stuff away. They sold most of the live rock for 1.25lb! Oh well

That's crazy. The store owner here want me to consult about doing saltwater in his store. They do sell some products. Or at least you can order saltwater products if you'd like. I better hit them up for the tanks.

That sounds like a cool opportunity. If I ever move into a higher tax bracket area and assuming I have the money by then, I've thought about opening a store after retirement. I don't think I'm the type that could sit around doing nothing for the rest of my life ya know...??? Wouldn't do it here though and I'd want another 10-20 years of reef keeping under my belt.
