Will the skimmer be plumbed from the sump or fuge?

 

The skimmer will be fed from the drain.

 

Frag QT Stand

This is the first time I have set up a QT/grow out tank for corals. Other than the normal equipment, should I put rock or sand inside of the tank?

 

Im not positive but i think QT's only have things like pvc and other easily sterilized random items.

 

For corals?

 

Well you wouldn't want sand or rock even as little buggers that you're trying to avoid would end up taking up residence. So yeah, I'd say a frag rack of some kind but that's about it.

Finished Frag QT Stand

Finished painting the stand with 3 coats of Kilz Premium.


And the prefinished stand. Later it will be skinned like the display tank.

 

Coral Tank

I have the coral tank plumbed and doing a fresh water leak test.




I even built the screen protector so I don't have any jumpers.
