    I dunno if anyone mentioned this... Check valve on the return line so it doesn't back siphon if the power goes out?

    I did the power failure test and it stops about a couple inches from the top. Since the valve is fully open I can always cut it off to do water changes. Thanks for the heads up.

    Oh my bad. I wanted to get my coral tank up and running while I await for the electrical to get ran. I was checking to see how silent it was running.
