    They arent reliable. I learned that right before i cleaned up about ten gallons but after i had to listen to the girlfriend go on about her precious carpet.

    They have some new ones out that you can clean. But I have the ball valve on to avoid the back siphon.

    March Update

    Well some things have changed since I've posted on the build.

    First, my 65 gallon suddenly cracked on the bottom for no reason after running for three years. Ok maybe a couple so I had to convert the new QT coral tank to the new fish QT tanks so now I don't have to worry about corals jumping.

    Secondly, I have changed the idea of having a 360 degree viewing tank. There was no equal space surrounding the tank especially on the 8 foot sides. So I moved the tank into its new place.

    And lastly, the porch paint that I used at the slightest scuff would come up so I laid down a vinyl tarquette flooring. It said I needed a little over five boxes for the area I needed to cover. Now I see why.

    Now I have to but a whole box just to lay one plank of flooring since everything else will be behind the foam skin.
