I havent kept up with the build thread on here. I need to update it. Are you able to get out any or do you have to kinda stay confined to the couch? Coral Con is in Orlando this weekend and I will be there tomorrow all day.

Thank you so much for your service. I am so sorry to hear that your issues relate. It is just not right that we are not providing the best, most expediant (sp) medical care to you. That just makes me totally **ssed! With all that they have done for us, they should be given top priority.

That being said, any ideas on how we can change that Bruh? I hear and read about the poor VA care but there has to be a way to get things turned around. Not trying to derail the thread or getting political, just asking.....

The VA in my opinion is overwhelmed with injured vets especially after the Iraqi and Afghanistan war. I believe it was more than they could handle. But everything is on a budget so it's not like they can hire more doctors or nurses. Well they probably can but might have to release them also.

What people don't know is most doctors and nurses are new hires in the VA hospitals and they stay there long enough to get their experience and leave to go somewhere else to get paid more money. I believe that's why the staff is also overwhelmed.

But realize that there are vets that also don't report because of the subpar care also. I too have been through three different doctors, 4 nurses, 4 dentists and endless rehab specialist and I don't think it's going to end.

I do want to thank you for your concern and it was an honor to serve for the people of he USA and fellow reefers.

Well the MRI came back and I tore my interior ligament and on top of that there is a hole in my knee that either I had at birth or developed over time. So I will be out of commission for the next 6-8 months. But I have some peeps from the resting community helping out. Surgery will be happening in the next coming weeks so that's where I'm at at the present moment.

Ah man that's rough. Was hoping for a less drastic outcome. Well, hang in the buddy.
