I wanted to go bigger. But when push comes to shove worse case scenario I can do at least a 59% water change if need be.

That's how it was previously set up but that does make a good idea.

Goodness! This tank seems like it will be incredible. I've never been so impressed by a RO/DI setup!

Thanks for the kind words but I've seen RO setups way better than mine. That's called a ballin on a budget RO system. I just hate being limited on my funds or the tank would have been at least wet already.

If you were doing it on my funds you would just have the 55 for the sump. :)

Well since the sump was already built the 55 would have to settle as a refugium.

Oh what we could/would do with no limit funds... I basically have two dream tanks sick in my head... One is more or less what bro is building. I like to call that my day dream tank add is somewhat in the realm of feasibility. The other is about 10x bigger and probably more of a pipe dream!

Limitations will go as far you allow. It's good to succeed beyond your limitations. You only fail when you try to live beyond the limitation you can't afford.

I was going to say the same thing; the blocks should be as they are when used to build a wall. Otherwise you are loading the structurally weak side of the blocks and could have a failure.

Otherwise, love the shear size of it!

Thanks. I will drain and rotate the blocks.
