    I have much more clearance with this flush mounted fan compared to the previous fan so if I have to raise my lighting fixture there will be no problems.

    And to think I was going to pay someone to hang the fan for me.

    Actually it's not. But I will be building a bar around the tank that will fold down and since its over built it should hold my weight but I have a ladder that I feel comfortable with.

    true, i guess when all the water in the tank weighs upwards of a thousand pounds a couple hundred on top of that makes no difference.
