Thanks M. The dude does great work and he only does it by hand depending on the severity of the scratches.

The crack was resealed by me. It sat for a while before he took it. So far it's been a few days and so far no leaks. I just have to make sure I don't put any pressure near that area and ill be good.

Should I or should I not tie it into my main system. I will have it next to my DT.
Here is where it will go.

    Thoughts, suggestions, concerns?

Also I moved my frag tank to this side of the room.

Well tying it in has a ton of benefits, mainly better water quality, you don't need any extra equipment (skimmers, reactors, heater(s), sump, maybe controller, etc), only doing water changes and dosing to one tank, etc. The only real downside is that they are tied in together and so if anything happens in one, it happens in both essentially. I think the benefits out-way the negatives though and would say to do it!

Totally agree, I've always thought frag tanks should be tied in.
-Better water quality for both frag and main system via higher water volume.
    -Saves on equipment
    -easier to maintain
-less stress on coral when moving from one tank to the other due to the water chemistry being the same
    -there's probably more...

    Con
-only one I can think of is as mentioned; one tank gets nuked, they both do...

Got a 40 breeder today and I'm going to drill it to be tied into the main system.

    Hole #1 is 3/4" return:

    Hole #2 is 1" drain:

    Hole #3 is also a 1":
