    I have one in my garage I don't need anymore. If you want it. 40 gallon it has two holes drilled in it. One on the right side and a smaller one for a float valve. My old sump.

    If it was tempered, it would just shatter into a million pieces. He just has bad luck, a bad bit, or too fast/not enough water (or all of the above?).
