    The holes were to small. I drilled them bigger and used the RO/DI tubing in each hole and now it's silent.

    Don't you want one of the drains to run full siphon, with an gate valve on it so you can adjust it to keep it run full siphon, then the emergency with an airline that will get underwater as well when the level gets up high in the overflow box?

    By having an airline in the primary, it won't work that way

    covering the airline with your finger should cause it to flush. if so, then it is setup properly.

    I couldn't. I transferred livestock and corals over once everything cycled. The rock was already cured before aquascaping and I seeded the tank with about 150-200 lbs of rock of which 75-100 went up top and the rest went down in the sump. Née corals won't be added until next year.

    That's too funny.. I know after this long I couldn't wait eather. And when you say next year it sounds like it's forever long away... But man its almost here already.. Where did 2013 go..??
