    Why did you go with 2x8's instead of 4x4? just curious

    Because I won't have a center brace on the 96" length sides. Plus on another forum there is a structural engineer thread on stands and since I was designing mine a certain way, they said to go with this style and my deflection will be less than .1

    Wow your gunna span 96" w/o a center brace, where were you when I wad asking if it could span 48" for my 75 hahaha
    Plz explain more on how to properly do that!!!

    Just like my homeboy showed you. But you would need 2 each 2x6's 48 inches long, 2 each 2x6's 45 inches long, 2 each 2x6's 15 inches long. You just have to determine how high you want your stands. For the bottom brace you could do 2x4's the same lengths and then do the t brace design like I did and you should be good. I went overboard and used all 2x8's even as the t braces. You can do the t braces and corners like this on each side.
