Today I increased my water volume about 100 gallons. I filled up the tank and it's in full running mode. No leaks and better yet no micro bubbles. The feed going into the tank off the dart was to strong so I checked it down and now everything is clear. Next up is setting up the calcium reactor.

Thanks Todd. I never understood the physics of it when the previous owner had it plumbed that way. But it works.

I added the temporary light over the tank. It's an ATI 6 bulb fixture.

Well 1st setback with calcium reactor. I set it up with a drip rate every 8 seconds and had a nice slow drip going into the sump.......until I smelled something burning. I run to the back and there was a small flood. Couldn't find the leak as the surge protector blew up and cut off the power to the calcium reactor, peristaltic pump, and co2. Now the trouble shooting begins.

This thing has been incredible to watch my friend. I've been following along in the shadows and i commend you for a job well done wayne.

What's your ultimate goal for that ,chuckles.. 90 gallon frag tank? Lol I personally think you should do a large refugium. Keep some neat inverts and sea horses if you'd be up to it . I personally think that be neat and pretty beneficial to the overall system. Perhaps a large mangrove tree that could be the focal point...

Either way, this has turned out great, and you should be proud of yourself! It's beautiful, simply beautiful.

Pretty much a reef frag tank. I would do a refugium but I'm doing ZeoVit and I haven't found a system that runs one because of the low nutrients. Plus the flow with the OM4 will be to much for the sea horses. Then again I could cut the flow down.

Today I took some frags from the DT and placed them in the frag tank as they were happy but not happy happy.

Sorry but that's the best I can show for color. I really need to get a serious camera.

My man Chris came through and helped me with my reactor problem. There was a blockage on the outflow of the return to the sump. Once that was fixed, the reactor has worked flawlessly. Here is a video.

I have been adding a cleanup crew for the past couple weeks. So far I added 7 Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, 50 Mexican Red Leg Hermits(10 of which I placed in the frag tank), 100 Coralline Margarita Snails (25 of which I placed in the frag tank) and next week I will add another 50 Mexican Turbo Snails(10 of which will go into the frag tank). Also will be adding a Ctenochaetus sp and Foxface of some sort into the frag tank for maintenance purposes.
