Reef Bruh's 600 Gallon Upgrade

Well I've been testing to see where my parameters are.



Calcium 440 ppm

Alk 9.15 dKh

Magnesium 1200

Nitrates 2.5 ppm

Phosphates 0 ppm(never had readings like this ever).

 

I added a 2nd protein skimmer to my setup. This one is skimming dry while the other one skims wet.



I've see a few build running their system this way so I'd thought I'd give it a try. What's the worse that could happen?

 

I got a few frags to place in the frag tank from ORA.

Green Planet


Marshal Island Yellow Fuzzy


Micronesian Green and Blue Acro


Blue Voodoo Staghorn


Rose Millepora


Marshal Island Misty Purple

 

My new QT inhabitants. All are eating mysis, pellets, flakes and HPD. Enjoy.

No. I have the cichlids in there right now. Waiting for petcos $1/gal sale so I can get them their own home. I have to separate one of them. He is super aggressive and getting torn up. His mouth doesn't close all the way and he is picking fights with a fish that has teeth. And a lot of them. Lol dumb fish.

 

Yea they have a habit of doing those type of things. Well I am still wishing you the best of luck and will be awaiting for your new build.
