I know its been a while since my last post. Nothing interesting has been happening. I received a spotted bristletooth tang over a week ago and its in the QT tank. I also received four 250 MH kits with icecap ballasts for free. Since the government wants to take its time refunding my money I will temporarily be using these with 6700K bulbs and accent the MHs with the BML 6 foot 14000k actinic kit. Jake Adams suggested it so I am going to roll with that for now.

I also performed my third and last 80+ gallon water change yesterday. But let me give you the short history first. The first two times it happened the hose from my carbon reactor somehow came out the filter sock and politely emptied the sump out causing both of my main pumps to fail on the first water change. Apparently after Sunday maintenance I left a towel on top of the skimmer cup and out of anger and not breathing I presume, decided to overflow the waste bucket and the next morning I woke up to a dry sump AGAIN. So I guess you can say that was my enjoyment.

Hang in there buddy! Tank looks amazing and you're doing a great job.
Geez 80g water change seems rough.
This hobby is rough. I just lost most if my live stock. Assuming this happens to everyone but it's so expensive. So I release to your comments about making things work until money comes in.
Any chance post a new photo of tank?

Wow life deals some bad cards sometimes.. But with your attitude you will ride it out. Hang in there buddy. What equipment do you need in the short term? Sounds like better bulbs and salt? I might be able to help there

Thanks. Its a process. Its a bonus to have 200 gallons of water premixed. I have two 275 gallon vats, one for RO and one for mixing salt. One of the best plans I ever made.
Thanks feed. It was an honor but unlike reefing it comes with the job.

    Good Guy Matt Rogers here!

Life does like to throw those bad cards out there, I have my own 5 years of hell, but it's nothing compared to what you were doing. So I know what it's like to be almost to the point and then a setback after setback happens. You seem to be holding up rather well, I find that just getting on here and interacting with some people helps get my mind off of the stuff that lingers. It's a home away from home at time.

Good luck and here's to a better July!

I saw your "new post" and was excited that you had an update. So sorry to hear about the struggles bruh. I sincerely hope that the VA gets it together. Matt is a great guy and I hope he's able to help you out in the interim. You know, in looking at your patience on your journey - I can't help but feel that the overall outcome of any of your struggles will be positive.

I also agree with zesty - here's some karma that your July rocks! You're one of the reasons that we are able to celebrate it *hug* - thank you so much!

Thanks for the kind words. It hit the spot in a positive way. My goal is to not let anyone down or at least be the best that I can be.
