All of my heat sinks are done. I got the aluminum from:

Alro Metals Plus at 12490 49th St. N. here in Clearwater. I just have to get the LEDs, wire, solder, flux, and alot of Mountain Dew.

6 of these heatsinks from Heatsink USA would have cost me $513.78. My total cost for the project, $187.00.

Thanks Snook. To tell you a G14 classified Top Secret secret, they are just 2" x 1" c channel aluminum that i put together. I put a 1/4" gap in between for air circulation. 45 LED's will go on each heat sink if I didn't mention it already.

Sounds like a good idea. Then I can work on my own tan while working on the tank. :yelrotflm:yelrotflm:yelrotflm

wow you did an amazing job on those heatsinks, and it costs a heck of alot less than heatsink USA, they should do a great job at dissapating the heat as well worse case you can add a few fans :p oh and Mt Dew was the drink that allowed me to pull my first all nighter like 12 years ago haha stuff keeps my eyes peeled open!!!!

I went to a local metal place here and bought the aluminum and had him cut it to size. Depending on your width of the tank would suggest 1" x1" aluminum c channels. Make two 15" x 6" and combine together. You should get 24 LEDs on each heat sink.
