Thanks for the info. Moved that idea up onto the top of the wiring list.

 

I did basically that but ran them behind my crown molding. Made for a great conduit! Then from there run it down a wall and into where ever you need to be.

I have leardned a lot from this thread and actually bought an acrylic tank because of it!

Dang it. I gotta fix that. Well I want to say I am honored that you could learn from my build. What size tank you get and how thick is the acrylic?

5O gallon tall tenecor, 3/4" acrylic. Wanna use it for garden eels or breeding jawfish.

 

Sweet. Garden eels are cool. I like the pearly jawfish myself.

Yes it has been a long time for an update. I got a guy coming out Friday to look at the tank and I agreed to a payment plan to see if its worth finishing. I still have some noticeably bad spots. If its fixable he will take the tank with him and keep it for a couple months to work on it unless he gets finished earlier. If not then A truly new tank build will be in the works. Maybe longer.
