A few months ago of sized down my sump because it left me no space under the tank for maintenance and if incase I wanted to add. So I went from 72x36x24 (operating at approximately 100 gallons) to 48x36x24 (operating at approximately 67 gallons).

I have water tested the tanks about 10 times only to find a leak after I repaired the previous one. So today I am finally leak free. Well rather the sump is now.

Nice!! I think youll have plenty of room for equipment in that suimp. lol

When the tank is finished, do you have all the stuff for completion? ie plumbing, pumps, lights, etc? Cuz i cant wait to see what comes of this tank, the footprint is sick. ive never seen a tank like it. Specially viewable from all sides like that.

Well I'm putting in these heavy duty rails so I can pull the sump out for maintenance and other things. Presently the light rack is being built, the heatsinks for the led build, and I have the Reeflo Hurricone Cat 3 Protein Skimmer. The rest of the equipment will come after I pay the acrylic man off. I will be purchasing 2 Reeflo dart pumps (one for each return) and 4 MP60's. I might add some sea swirls to the mix and lately thinking about dosing pumps. But you know how this hobby is, things and ideas change a lot.

I think I have the support for the tank, maybe. But I hate aquascaping. The plumbing side should be easy and inexpensive considering I will get a 10% discount on all the part from HD or Lowes. But if you can make the trip it will definitely be worth it and I will see to that. I plan on having a reefing part after I pass the final water test.

Sweet deal. Have you even begun thinking of a scape? i mean thats a unique footprint, there could be many options. Personally, i would do a couple islands of different sizes. Or what about a peninsula, with the rock work extending from one side, to the overflow, and around it. almost engulfing it. And make the rock damn near at the surface close to the side, and slope it down gradually.. I think that be cool. Maybe even a cave in the back so tangs can hang out with there spooked, but you could see em!
