It's been a while since I was here. Sorry about the set backs. My wife would have divorced me by now. :)

But all caught up and it seems you are heading in the right direction. Keep at it.

If you have a way of making it easy o yourself (such as an auto-water-change system) then I would suggest daily water changes.

Oh... you know my answer... automated daily changes. Super easy. To do a weekly batch you would just need a resivor 35-70 gallons.

What do you use for the automatic changes? I am wanting to do this in the future.

Hey I am glad you are back. I'm sorry but divorce in not in my budget; maybe breaking up but not a divorce. I will be shooting some ideas your way. Glad to see you again.

Well since the tank is going to be a 360 walk around, the only two choices will be manually or through my ceiling going into the center overflow.

I think I might have to invest in the LMIII to accomplish that task.

That can be an easy find. Its the big ones I need to make water to get the system started.

There are a few systems out there. The more popular one is the Genesis system, the Lite Meter III, and an old school one call Dialysis.

I used a Tunze Osmolator. bought an extra pump and a relay. Super easy and cost about $30 over the osmolator I already had. You do need a controller too... but there are so many reasons to have a controller you should have one anyway. Overall it's a big thing.... but when you have the controller and ato (things you should have anyway)... then to automate it daily is a snap.

My write up ought to be in my sig.

Signatures are only shown on the person's first post on each page. I see it toward the top of this (now it is the previous) page, but no link that's specifically about water changes.
