Yea it hurts to lose any fish especially an expensive one. Autopsy said natural causes so I was glad it wasn't a infection or parasite that caused it. I cant wait to get it home. I couldn't even sleep I was so hyped. Sorry about the QT tank. Good luck with him.

Article on Flow

I ran upon this article while googling about water flow. What are your guys/girls opinion?

Sounds kind of cool... I would get 4 sea swirls and put one in each corner. That would be awesome for that tank. Give a better random flow as well. I'm installing 2 on my tank in the next couple weeks.

 

I was going to do 8 of them. Since I do have that center overflow 4 does make more sense.

She is home and in my garage. The next missions are:

1). Plug the holes that I was going do a closed loop. I will use bulkheads and cap them off.

Your guess is as good as mine. That was a good article but lots have changed in the reefing game. I just have to figure out how to pull the 360 off without having cords interfering with the views.
