    the pain is on my right arm not my whole body;D lol... i think addiction vs. pain.. addiction always wins:p

    I could be wrong.. but I don't think mangroves are supposed to be fully submerged..at least I have never seen them that way. If you are going to put them in your display tank this suggests that you put them on some rocks near the top.

    ups.. well lol i dont think i have a place were they wont be fully submerged.. (thats a bummer.) think ill have to nuke them then :-/
    ill wait for more responses though.

    No need to nuke. I've put one in a pint glass with sand and water and put it in the window. It grew this way for years with only a top off now and then and some fish food.

    well yea but then they wont really serve their purpose that way. ugh.. i should have installed a fuge.

    why would u nuke them? rubber band them around your heater. thats what i did and they rooted in 2-3 weeks.

    um dont have the heater in DT. have it in sump. ( cant put mangroves there since the sump is closed. and cant put light in there)

    what i could do is sort of get them on the plastic things on my tank but that would make my tank look ugly.

    i have seen them fully submerged but have never tried it so no clue

    Stick em in some styrofoam and float them in the sump or in the corner of the DT or use eggcrate to attach em somehow. I have just a bit more than the brown part of the bottom in the water, I use syrofoam, its been one month and all except one that was no good have sprouted roots.
