When I ordered last week I got free express shipping on the order since it was over $150. Now if you don't need 1000 snails, you could try to find a friend or 2 that need a CUC or put some food in your order as well to try to get the total up. Don't forget to enter '3reef' in the coupon field for a nice discount.

I didn't know about the discount either!! And I already ordered. Oh well, I didn't order too much so it wasn't very expensive. I'll use the coupon code next time.

    Thanks for the tip!!

One thing to consider about the shipping cost is that John's inventory is usually much cheaper than any other "reef package". So to me the cost savings is equal. Also, he can't be matched for service and communication!

One the about the snails KC is that I don't ever see my snails during the day. So having that many in the tank is not even noticeable.

Yeah, his prices are sooooo incredibly cheap! I actually didn't get any hermits, so I was able to ship my package with the cheapest option. I spent way, way less than if I had gone to my LFS.

Plus, I get to get something in the mail besides bills! That's always fun! :)

I got some dwarf ceriths and nassarius snails. I'm excited for the meat eating ones!! I didn't order too many this first time around. I'll see how they do and then I'll probably get some more in a few months.

(When I start corals, Ricordeas are going to be my first. I love them!)
