I got my reccomendation from John and everything totals to about 150 "cleaners". Is it ok to order and add all these at once? Sorry maybe a dumb question.

I had the same reaction as you when I got John's recommendation for a cuc for my 90 gal. However, when your order arrives you will see that it is not as much as you imagined it would be. They (cuc) will melt into your tank in no time and you will begin to wonder if you have enough of a cuc. John is usually spot-on with his recommendation.

Just a consideration: this all depends on how old your tank is. If it is fully established and you have little or no cleanup crew, then you can add them all at once. If it is a new tank, you might consider just adding the CUC as you go along to meet demand. If you add too many snails/hermits in a tank w/o any algae/detritis/etc, you stand a good chance of losing some of the members to your CUC.

Good luck with your new 'crew!

I added mine in 1/3 at a time since The tank was just finishing it's initial cycle.

I personally wouldn't add them all at once... but different people, different opinions...

Here's the thing, you probably told John it was a new tank. I'm sure he took that into consideration on the suggested CuC.

I did and recommend others add it all at once after cycle. That's not to say you don't want more CuC in a year from now.

It's not as much as it sounds like.

150 cleaners doesn't sound like too much for a 90 gal. What are they?

If they are mostly dwarf ceriths it may even be really small and need added too in time. John's recommendations are spot on IME
