Anyone here have any experience with a reef Dynamics skimmer? I ordered one last week for my 75 gallon tank....hopefully to become my reef tank in the months to come. I did some research online...this used to be Euro reef and then became reef dynamics. I ordered the INS135 size skimmer...should receive it this thursday? Hope its a good one.

A reputable long time reefer told me these are the best USA made skimmers on the market.

It is basically a Euroreef redo and yes, it is made right hear in SoCal. It should be a solid performer and they have always had a reputation of great build quality. The owner is the former creator of EuroReef. Euroreef used to be the leader of needlewheel tech skimmers in the US.

That is a quality skimmer made in the USA. Should do your system well. I do think that this model would perform a little better. Photo Details

I've been using the Euroreef 135 for maybe 5 years. My only complaint would be that to replace the impeller cost 60 bucks. I don't know how that compares to other skimmers out there. However i like it enough that i just ordered ins180 for my new system.

I love these skimmers. I spent months researching for the perfect skimmer, and ended up with a EuroReef. I have yet to think I made the wrong choice.

    Enjoy.

Euro Reef was known to be a well balanced skimmer. Had a good transition and worked well. It is quite dated though and for a $300 for INS 135 which would do a 90g you can do better. Not saying they are crap, but $300 can get a better skimmer these days.
